Bioinformatics- Bioinformatics is bio-beautiful; its doing your biology inside the computer, which is a lot of stuff involving a lot of data and a lot of software!
We use goofy terms in bioinformatics like pseudo-Greek word, “in silico” meaning “in silicon”, referring to doing stuff inside silicon chips in computers. In bioinformatics, computers help certain type of people, do their biology experiments inside the computer. That’s just one application of bioinformatics.
There are a lot more applications of bioinformatics. I fully utilize computers’ powers, existing software applications, databases, data management techniques, and software development for advanced bioinformatics applications.
